REPL is a Computer Science thing. I've heard of it due to the large
concentration of MIT grads around here, and their affection for LISP.

Googling "repl site:mit.edu" yields ~35k results.

Also, http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?ReadEvalPrintLoop shows it made it to the
other coast.

The Wikipedia article even refers to FoxPro...
