Its quite a coincidence that you should bring this up today - since I just got 
the offer for the new job - doing VFP work - but, the back-end for the most 
part is MS SQL. They have some smaller DBF's that haven't been converted to MS 
SQL yet - but, most of the data has been.

So - I'm curious. Isn't there an MS SQL Express - that's Free to download? 
Although - I suspect that Free Express version doesn't have the "bells and 
whistles" you referred to - like SSRS and the other stuff (all acronyms that I 
have NO Idea what they mean!).

Just curious - as I may now seriously look into downloading the Express version.
