Let this serve as public notice that YOU SHOULD NOT BE USING THIS
SOFTWARE ANYMORE.
Apparently there are better tools these days for getting VFP binary
formats into text and back, for putting in source control repositories.
I have no idea what those tools are,
I use scctextx which either came with VFP9 or I downloaded it from the
microsoft site, but can't remember which. I only use this tool as a one
way converter to text format for the purpose of doing diffs in your
source contol software. I create a .TXT file with the same name as the
form or class and keep that under source control just like the form. If
I want to make changes I change the form/class then regenerate the txt file.
I have a program called genform which will check the dates of all my
forms and txt files and if the txt file is older it will regenerate it.
Works nicely and you can easily see what has changed in your form/class.
