Hullo Mr. B -
some comments -
1. It's Tech-Ed - they rarely mention VFP or have something to do with
VFP unless the developer community IN EACH COUNTRY petitions for a VFP
session.
2. Tech-Ed Spain. Yawn.
3. Are you going to your local Tech-Ed and MSDN events, passing out your
Why-VFP-Is-Better flyers to all attendees ? If not, you should.
4. Each Tech-Ed for each country has a different focus, usually agreed on
by the MicroSift Developer Evangelists (employees), the MPR office in that
locale, the local MVP group and the big MSDN RD's (not MS employees).
Want to change it for Spain ? Lobby that collection of Groups.
5. In recent Memory, Grig Dolghin in Bucharest actually did a standup on
VFP+mySql at a MSDN event. He has since been tagged as a VFP MVP.
6. Repeat - it's Spain. Yawn. But the VFP Community in Spain should
really jump all over this and have that MS Employee slapped around a bit.
Used to be, Ken Levy would follow up with these 'employees' with some
re-education - but he's Not There anymore.
I could make more comments, but I guess the big question from me to you is
- hey - are you studying the TechEd AND MSDN Events Calendars and
petitioning for a VFP topic on each one? If not, you should!
Regards [Bill]
