Interesting! I may still have an old floppy drive of that style as well. So -
Dave - if your search fails - I may do a search for Adam!

I know - some of us computer geeks keep our old crap for YEARS! I still have an
old DELL box, that has 2 300Mhz CPUS in it - and this was WAY Prior to Duo
chips!

I'll have a look around the computer shack... I'm sure I have one around
somewhere.

My final year project from 1987 was on a 20mb drive attached to an Amstrad 1512
which now no longer works...

I'm looking to get it onto a pc to relive old times and to prove that i could
write real code.....

Assembler / Debugger and emulator for the MS6502 written in Turbo Pascal....

It's on a 360KB disk though!

I do in fact Adam and it is only a single sided 160Kb one - not even double
sided... Why, do you need one?

Dave,

You wouldn't have a 5 1/4" drive attached to that machine would you?

Adam.

Funnily enough, I still have a 20Mb ... yes 20Mb Seagate RLL drive running in a
286 with 128Kb (Kb NOT Mb) of memory running MsDos 3.0 and stacker software to
make the 20Mb look like 40Mb!! All it does is simply routes comms packets from
the Radio Amateur network onto my LAN. It has been turned on almost
continuously since 1986 and never faltered apart from a couple of mains outages.

I've blown up a 300MB drive when installing it, back when that was a seriously
big drive, but that's it.
