Hello Everyone, Happy New Year! I hope everyone has a plentiful amount of goodness this year.
I am currently in the process of assessing of moving our 20 some odd projects away from Visual SourceSafe (VSS) and Team Foundation Server 2010 (TFS) in to a central repository using git. On VFPx there is the Project Explorer which has the ability to work with git as the source control. I watched a youtube of Doug Hennig presenting this. What I didn't catch was if there was built in ability to get latest from the central repository and merge it with the local copy, prior to sending to the central repository. Is anyone using this project with git that could me clarify that? I'm wanting to get some best practices in to place before starting any conversions.
