What I mean is if they open Task Manager (or go out to an administrator prompt
and do 'tasklist') are there a whole load of IEXPLORE.EXE listed ?

I'll check.  On mine, which runs fine, I did the tasklist and noticed 6 instances of iexpore.exe listed.  So what?  Not sure how that matters since mine works fine and shows multiple instances running.
