Thank you for that. I needed a place to start looking. I have not yet changed to win11. I had so much trouble with win10 that I decided to wait until I hear that the thing is working. I think I'll look for a workaround for now. First step is to get more specific information.

Well, sure. But if anyone's got Win11 and a similar app, you might
luck out and get something like "command.com is no longer on the path
and you need to add it to AUTOEXEC.NT" or something.

A quick internet search on "Windows 11 shell to CMD" type searches
seems to indicate there's some kind of new terminal app that can run
CMD and PowerShell. So, that might have something to do with it.
