Racks are nicer to deal with.  Usually the wires are easier to trace, and
haven't the KVM for the central viewing is much better then the few sets of
keyboard/mice all over the place and swapping the monitor cord as needed.

If you looking at a rack and a few servers have you considered a Blade?
