Cisco owns the trademark to 'iPhone'. Apple had been in negotiations with them to be allowed to use the name, but they didn't come to an agreement before MacWorld. Jobs went ahead and announced the name as 'iPhone' anyway. Now the lawyers will duke it out. I'd bet that, based on the initial reaction to the iPhone (have you seen Apple's stock price these last two days?), Cisco will be demanding much more than they could have before the announcment. -- Ed Leafe -- http://leafe.com -- http://dabodev.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
