To All, Linspire's Click'n Run installation software/repository is to be made available to other Linux Distro's.
It looks as though the Linux Distro's are finally understanding the need for easy software installation by "joe Bloggs" users. OK, I know it isn't particularly difficult as it is in Ubuntu but this adds a nice "professional interface" to installing 3rd party software both open source and commercial. "CNR will soon be available for many of the most popular desktop Linux distributions, not just Linspire and Freespire. In addition to Linspire and Freespire, the first distributions you'll see supported throughout this year are (alphabetically): Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE, and Ubuntu." http://www.linspire.com/linspire_letter_archives.php?id=38 Installation and configuration of Linux will now be even easier.
