Because a car with similar performance would typically use twice that amount? Because it would be fun?
I have owned a lot of fun, fast cars including a Mustang V8 with a LOT of go-fast parts but the two most fun cars I have ever owned was a Escort GT Turbo and a Suzuki Swift GT. Never forgot the look on the faces of a Corvette driver [it was a '76, perhaps the slowest of all Corvettes] when I dusted them in my Suzuki or the sounds of the waste gate opening up in my Escort and the kick of the turbo charger kicking in. jeff fisher, MCP www.turbofish.com -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Michael Madigan Sent: Wednesday, March 21, 2007 3:15 PM To: ProFox Email List Subject: RE: [OT] Reserve your Smart Car Why would I buy the car if the MPG is only 40? --- Jeff Fisher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > http://www.smartcarofamerica.com/category/smart_roadster_and_roadster-coupe/ > "The Smart Roadster's 80-hp super-turbo engine > accelerated from 0-100 mph in > 10.9 seconds." > > More my style > > jeff fisher, MCP > www.turbofish.com > > _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
