Computed field, hmmm, I've never done that before.  Can you do that by
doing a modify through the DBC editor?

Seriously though, if you're interested in cutting out cycles, I minor 
(can't stress than enough!) tweak might be to replace the SCAN loop with

this:

Replace wait_time1 with
ALLTRIM(STR((CTOT(TIME())-CTOT(rvCheckIn.Arrival_time))/60)) ALL in
rvCheckIn


OR ... just have that as a computed field in your view, so the Requery
command does all of the work for you in its call!
