Got a chuckle out of the rules, Jack. :) I couldn't imagine breaking #5,
but some people just don't think...

Center Ice package and a DVD is the ONLY way to go for a hockey fan on the
west coast. I can catch a west-coast game live after work (either on
Center ice or the Kings/Ducks local broadcasts), then watch an east-coast
game I recorded after that (skipping through commercials and intermissions).
I didn't need it when I lived on the east coast, with all the "local" teams
(NJ, NYI, NYR, PHL) I could frequently watch 2 games a night on
MSG/SCNY/ESPN (back when they carried games) without Center ice.

I sometimes forget about OLN/Versus/whatever the call themselves this week.
But with the DVR I can program it ahead of time to record the games... And
sometimes get a pleasant surprise when I look at the programs I've recorded
and find a game I forgot all about.

I LOVE this time of year - hockey, hockey, hockey, hockey, hockey all the
time!!!!

Lou
2 goals, 4 assists in 5 games with my new team in spring league!
You'd be surprised how popular playing ice hockey is in Los Angeles. The
rink I play at houses 38 adult league teams spread over 5 divisions.

I'm debating whether or not I want to purchase the Center Ice package
thingee for the playoffs to watch hockey...but then again, I could just
watch Versus for free!
