Thanks for all the input, folks. Seems like everything else - YMMV. Sounds like Jack and a few others have been down the exact same road. Sometimes flashing the unit helps, sometimes it doesn't. I just don't have time for things that don't work right now. I've changed the SID, channel, code,... I'm giving up on it. It cost me a couple hours of work and a trip to the office last week when it bombed on me, so Merle Norman is picking up the tab.
