How about a pet peeve? The format property on textboxes, and other controls, needs to go away as a hold over to past times. Yes, it is very powerful. My beef is that its not very developer friendly, especially for new developers. How about having a "Select All Text on Entry" property? AKA "K" ... or "Force To Upper Case"? AKA "!", or "Alphabetic Characters Only"? AKA "A". On and on.
Yes, it would add tons of properties which would be a pain all on it's own, but that's what "Favorites" is supposed to do for us right? With no VFP10, I guess I'm stuck with the Format property for the next 20+ years. -Kevin CULLY Technologies, LLC Sponsor of FoxForward 2007 foxforward.net David Crooks wrote: > On Wednesday, May 02, 2007 11:24 AM Derek Kalweit wrote: > >> Why is "ShowTips" default to false for forms?
