The funny thing about thinking of yourself as an intellectual or smart
or any such thing is that is simply a form of snobbishness.

We all put our pants on one leg at a time.

I'm not comparing myself to them, but some of the greatest minds in the
world never had more then a grade school or high school education.
They never took the time to study the things that ya'll consider
important such as words, grammar, etc. because they didn't consider them
important in their quest.

As hal says, my thoughts are and always have been on the big picture
which I personally consider very important and the minor details, well
there will always be intellectuals to sort them out and squabble over them.

As somebody on here recently said, I must have been sitting in the back
of the room thinking about my car or that pretty new gal and not paying
one bit of attention to that boring teacher, but that does not make me a
bad person and I am the type of person that will always come to the aid
of the underdog instead of doing my best to make them feel inferior
which in my humble opinion is a very poor character in a person.
