There is a simple way to change ( read: turn off ) some of the Vista
security defaults that make the OS such a hassle. Type in 'secpol.msc' in
the Run box and you'll be taken to where you can adjust all sorts of things
related to the User Account control, the passwords, and so on. Very handy in
making Vista a less irritating platform to work with. Hope it helps :)
