I worked on an app which had been designed by the client (badly) and coded by the senior programmer (before my time). As an employee he had very little choice but he made his displeasure known by putting a header on every program and method stating that he had not designed this system and not accepting any responsibility for the design. Subsequently, shortly after my arrival on the scene, the client accepted that their design was flawed (crap was the actual word I used) and had a re-write!
