I have been using the [EMAIL PROTECTED] service from USAA bank for several
months, and love it. I can't use it for business checks, but for rebates
checks and other non-business checks it is great. Perhaps some day my
business bank will have the same service. One thing I learned early on,
however, is that if the scanned image is for some reason not accepted, and
the check is already endorsed on the back, I would have to mail the check to
the bank (in TX, I am in NY). So, I began to use printed images of the
reverse of various size checks with my signature so it looks like an
endorsed check's reverse. I send that for the image of the back of the
checks, so if one is rejected I can "really endorse it" and deposit it
locally.
