Seriously, people uneducated in science believe *anything.* We just  
had an article in the paper about local people believing that  
minuscule amounts of CFC's in their drinking water are causing every  
ailment from diabetes to a IBS (in a *dog*). I wish I were making  
this up. Some were saying it is Love Canal or Erin Brokovich (sp?)  
all over again. Even the state Health Department is saying "Uh, No."

My former father-in-law actually believed "Chariots of the Gods." Of  
course there is *no other possible explanation* to how the Egyptians  
built the pyramids than that space aliens designed them and flying  
saucers carried the blocks.
