Hi All, I just received this from the people who run the IT for one of our customers:
"User at xxx are Privileged users. They have permission to create objects but not to run processes from another process. This user classification was able to do this before but it was changed in the April security update from MS. We would have to set them as part of the admin group for this to work again." Does anyone know which security update he's talking about? Our product does mail merges using Word & Excel. Data is exported to an Excel sheet and then we fire up a user-created Word doc that is linked to the Excel sheet. Everything works using COM. This allows the user to produce nice looking documents with logos etc. p.s. this works fine for 'normal' Windows users BTW, no admin rights needed. -- Paul _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
