Hi foxgang A word of warning to those wanting to use Craig's VFDEncryption FLL. The Install shield or at least the VC++ 7.1 runtimes are not complete (wow surprised me). You will need msvcp71.dll as well as the one it does put in. It can go in the windows/system32 and does not appear to need to be registered. And as for the VC++8 version. Well it needs the VCC++ 8 runtimes which are available from Craig's site, or Microsoft, *BUT* these in tern do not always install because they need MS installer 3. Which in tern does not work (at least for the test install) which failed to install the installer. So much for DLL hell and all that rubbish. Allen
