yes and no, when you are at the newobject line the alias is correct, when
you hit the init code it's either right or wrong - there's no line where it
changes.

fwiw I've now put in hack code to check for it and reset the alias but I'm
not really comfortable with that.
I'm beginning to suspect a memory leak, it's been my experience in earlier
versions of fox that when you hammer the memory you get corrupted pointers
or some such.
