(VFP9SP1) I've got a "slow" process that I'm trying to speed up. There are several SCATTERs. I admit that I've not yet run the eventtracking and coverage profiler over these areas but wanted to throw this question out in the meanwhile: is SCATTER something that's usually slow? Perhaps if I only wanted a few properties out of a cursor record, I'd be better to just assign them to variables instead of using the easy SCATTER method?
