Whil, It sounds like you're putting together a cooler setup than a lot of us. I run a laptop in an upright docking station plus a 22" wide screen monitor. I made that switch to save power since we are on solar/battery/generator power and a CRT is too costly to run anymore. I actually gave away my biggest 21" CRT a year ago to a co-worker at EDS when I left. There's not enough electricity to run something that big out here.
So, if you wanted to, you could say you switched to the new setup to save power.
