For a lot of people, I think it is more a case of being afraid to live and
let live. Some folks feel a huge need to let everyone know they think it is
a sin and repulsive so others won't suspect they are one of them.

I think this fear of being suspected to be gay is behind a lot of the
anti-gay speech and legislation.

If right-wing gays felt more secure in their own skins they wouldn't be
doing things like paying someone they met in a porn shop $1000 for
unprotected sex in an attempt to keep everything secret.
