The stuff thrown at Hillary was blown all out of proportion. A cattle deal
that made money, a land deal that didn't, along with a host of nonsense was
thrown at her. Bill Clinton's zipper problem won't be held against her by
reasonable folk.

The small things that have been thrown at Obama so far are already a bigger
deal, and have not been fully explored. He really did have a relationship
with a shady developer, while whitewater really was a load of crap. Do not
discount the fact that Hillary has already survived the mudslinging and
Obama has not yet been tempered by fire.

As far as having all the same ideas, they do have a lot in common. I'm not
talking about that. I'm saying Obama has a big experience and knowledge and
"tempered steel" gap with Hillary. I'd see him being a better choice later
on, or perhaps doing a stint in the vice president's seat so he learns the
ropes before taking power.

The presidency is a big job to be handing out to a guy that is not a known
commodity.
