Ken,
If it has a HP make sure you are using the HP drivers for the wireless
network card rather than the windows supplied drivers. The install for the
HP stuff can normally be found off the main start/programs display.

This caught me out a couple of times when I had to reformat my HP laptop as
the default wireless drivers from XP just do NOT work.

Subject: [NF] Wireless Network weirdness

Hey - - - - -- ---- ---

This is a problem my Cousin has. He asked me, but my brain couldn't
come up any solution.

He has a wireless network, with a Belkin router 54G. Two laptops:
  - One of them finds and connects with the network fine.
  - The other one *finds* the wireless network, but won't connect to it.

The computer that won't connect is a HP with WinXP Pro. He has
already tried bombing and reinstalling the wireless card drivers.
Wired networking works. Wireless card is on the motherboard.

I suspect that there's a "you idiot, of course you just..." solution.

TIA -- - -- - -- -

Ken
