Hi Mike,

Not sure what you are looking for but I always use a main screen which has
the main menu across the top with all of the options.  On the screen is some
text explaining what the application is and the client's logo with a series
of buttons underneath or to the side which call up the main parts of the
application.  I use buttons but I have seen others use pictures with a
suitable click method so that they act as buttons.
