Yep, I must agree with the XP comment though and the 64bit offering seems to
be even more stable along with Windows 2K3 server 32 and 64 bit versions.

The article did take me back to an operating system/DBM called Oasis that I
used about the mid 80's. It was an integrated Database manager and Operating
system all in one. Very nice to use and develop applications on using Altos
equipment and much better than the only other offering on the kit which was
MPM. So the article was based on some historical fact - might be worthwhile
looking into as a future Microsoft produce by the guys at Redmond!
