A nutball neighbor of ours called SWAT on us a couple of years ago when Steve stupidly discharged a weapon into a pile of gravel. Several police officers wound up jumping from a helicopter and surrounding us. Steve wound up being taken to the hospital with a heart attack. Nothing happened to the neighbor. So yes, somebody can definitely die when a person pulls a prank like that or a neighbor exaggerates an event over 911.
