Yes .. with VFP 9 SP2 you can do rotated text. The "Advanced" tab has an
option for Rotation. You have to realize, though, that it does so by using
the fxListener class and a few other classes in the _ReportListener class
library in the FFC directory which means you have to be sure to include this
class library in your project file when you build your app/exe.

VFP9's report writer can do rotated text. At least I think I read that
