Professional wrestling, Saturday Night Smackdown Style, is more theater than sport. The wrestlers are told who is to win the match before the event takes place, so a pin in professional wrestling is metaphorically like a boxer who take a dive, and has nothing to do with producing a winer in any true sense of the word.
