I had a similar experience. I installed an upgrade of a payroll system and it botched the system making it unuseable. I called their tech support and they told me it was a known problem and that they would fedex a fix.
When I told the client that I could't do anything before the fix arrived, she started throwing books around the room. That was the last time I had any remotely-crazy episode with her. She must have been having a bad day. There seems to be certain businesses where yelling is acceptable. I worked for a client who managed appraisals for houses, and I would hear yelling throughout the office over the phone. Crazy work environment. --- On Fri, 5/9/08, Gil Hale <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > From: Gil Hale <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: RE: [NF] Contract not renewed. > To: [email protected] > Date: Friday, May 9, 2008, 9:19 AM > Perhaps I am the odd-man-out in this matter.
