Gore's throaty accusation that Bush "preyed on our fears" will in retrospect be considered the most outrageous case of a pot calling a kettle black that there ever was.
Not to be outdone, Gore has once again latched himself onto a political swindle of massive proportions in "global warming" (now called "climate change" since that can ALWAYS be counted upon, whereas apparently global _warming_ cannot). Previously, he was the snake oil salesman for NAFTA and "free trade," but this man-made hysteria over quite natural "climate change" is lining his pockets with untold millions as it's public spokesman and patron saint. - Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Michael Madigan > Sent: Saturday, May 10, 2008 10:44 PM > To: profox@leafe.com > Subject: [OT] Environmentalist's wild predictions > > Harvard University biologist George Wald in 1970 warned, "… > civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is > taken against problems facing mankind."
