The Microsoft Windows standard is option 1. For some reason, I associate
that with Access applications. It must be the wizard placing the labels
and controls.

I prefer option 2 (with a colon) to keep the label and data closer
together.

Option 3 seems to 'waste' more space and I might use on a dialog box.
