Thanks There is also a property called hideSelection. This removes the highlight when the treeview loses focus, not noticed that before.

Allen -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Graham Brown Hi all I've got a form, this has a textbox and a treeview. In the textbox interactive change I've got a simple loop to find the value in the treeview node keys This all works fine but for some strange reason I can't get the treeview to highlight the entry. I'm using .selected, .ensureVisible and refresh. It definitely has found the correct value but won't highlight. Any ideas what I've got wrong gratefully received.
