We have been using the same version for at least 10 years. It works fine with
Win2k through Vista. They still have their web site
and an email you could try.

We use 7zip for making updates. You need to use a dos window, but it works
fast. It is free. Also Winzip has a scripting capability
that requires a dos window.

Someone here recommended vfpcompression. That web site also has vfpconnection
that has great technology. He created an fll wrapper
for a free Internet/http/ftp communication library that looks good. I have been
experimenting with it today and it has some good
ideas to incorporate into your program if you need to upload/download files
from web sites. Since it is specifically oriented for
VFP, you should check it out first (and it is free).

We use DynazipAX. The company is Inner Media, Inc.

You can zip and unzip in winzip compatible format. What I really like is
that you can search the zip for a single file and even
unzip a single file to a specific directory, open it and read it inside
vfp. You also can encrypt.

Hi all,

Is there a way to create a ZIP file from within a VFP app? If so, how
can
it be done? Preferably without having to pay for any utilities.

Thanks much!

John
