I get the feeling that each security pack released, no matter how many 
security holes are fixed, is just a drop in the bucket.

Anyway, if the browser isn't IE, and the mail client isn't LookOut or 
LookOut Express, and the Office suite isn't MS Office, and the perimeter 
firewall doesn't allow anything in to that Windows system other than 
expected traffic patterns, the risk isn't huge and time has proven this 
for me.
