I have not used it before, but from what I hear, escrow.com becomes a third
party referee to make sure that both parties do as they are supposed to. If
you think about it, the buyer gives escrow how much your wife wants for the
domain, once escrow gets the money, then the buyer is out that money, then
your wife transfers the domain, so she is out a domain and money, then it is
up to escrow to be a good company, and give your wife the money. I have
heard a lot of success stories about escrow, so I would say it would be a
safe option to go through.
