That is what they call themselves. I agree that advocating anarchy as  
a social convention is idiotic. Who wants to live in a society with  
no order? The fact that they were organized in their destruction is  
oxymoronic, or simply moronic.

Just like in Seattle a few years ago for the WTO meeting, they ran  
around breaking things, setting fires, assaulting police, and  
creating other mayhem. Of course, they were too cowardly to show  
their faces; they all wore masks of one kind or another. If they were  
in sympathy with the 'peace" protesters with whom they started, but  
from whom they broke off, what is the point of un-peaceful peace?  
They certainly counteracted any good will generated by the "peace"  
protesters, even among the protesters (my next-door neighbor was one).

I don't get the point, but I guess pointlessness *is* the point of a  
self-described anarchist.
