Greetings,

I use Road Kill Rabbit (Road Runner) and am VERY pleased with their service.
They have a 10 MB down and 386 KB upload speed for standard, and a 15 MB
down and 1 MB upload speed as their Turbo service. I have found that going
for their turbo service, you get priority internet bandwidth versus those
that pay for the slower connection speed.

I am not sure if Time Warner Cable offers high speed internet in the Chicago
area, as I am in Rochester NY, but I figured I would give my review anyways.

Subject: Finding a Good ISP

Heya,

So, it looks like RCN has decided to terminate their Giganews-based Usenet
service... without bothering to, say, notify their customers.

I'm getting kinda sick of being treated that way, so I'm considering
changing service providers, as much as that causes all kind of
stress-related issues. So I'd like a few suggestions. I'm looking for a
high-speed provider in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. I primarily use
E-mail, WWW, and some BitTorrent, as well as, obviously, Usenet. So if you
have the time, I'd love to hear some recommendations.
