The comment, I believe, was not about the existence of a bug, the
refusal to acknowledge it as a bug. Instead, it claims to have been
"by design", without explaining what benefit this supposed design
decision adds. You seem to be agreeing with the sentiment; since all
software has bugs, why not be honest and say that it's a bug?
