Hi Helio! Young-earth Creationism? That is not a mainstream faith. I studied Theology at the University of Detroit. The bible scholars there said that the 7 day creation period is symbolic. "Day" means a time period, an age. "In the day of creation" could be one day or one million centuries. There is no Catholic dogma about what the "day" was in the book of Genesis. In the Gospels and Epistles of the New Testament, "day" means 24 hours or sunrise to sunset, depending on the context, except where it refers to Old Testament days. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
