I'm hopeful that we hear soon about a charity auctioning off Sarah Palin's
clothes from the McCain campaign. A friend of mine from high school
suggested that she donate them to the AIDS task force in Ohio. That seemed
like a good idea.

Either way, there's no reason to put designer clothes on the rack at the
Salvation Army. They should go up for auction on eBay or Sotheby's or
something like that.

And for the future, I'd love to see Sarah Palin hire herself a seamstress
and get her clothes made from designer patterns she can buy from Vogue
patterns. Back when I was a size 8 (quite a while a go), I did exactly that
and was very happy with how well dressed a person can be for around $5K per
year. Of course, I was my own seamstress, but that's just because that's
what I used to do for a living before I went to college.
