Alan: I modified GENDBC years ago to handle data and that is how I have
always updated file structures for my customers. I will send it to you
if you wish.

It is GENDBC with additional methods for saving and restoring data. It
doesn't handle long field names but that is the only drawback that I
have seen. It could be modified to handle long field names if you use
those.

To use it you have the DBC open and "DO gendbc WITH 'thenameoftheprg.prg'

Let me know and I will email it to you.

Jeff
