My ex-wife claimed both our kids on her tax return this past 2 years. I accept that as she's got majority custody of them for now, but I just wondered what the tax deduction amount she got per kid. Looks like $3,650 per child for 2008 but this page (http://taxes.about.com/od/2008taxes/qt/quicktaxfacts08.htm) seems to indicate $3500 correctly. And on top of that, her "economic stimulus" check was affected by the kids as well, right?
