Actually in the US social circles it is considered a Canadian holiday upon which each servant is supposed to receive a box from his employer containing an appropriate gift. In other parts of the UK the servant idea is expanded to "less fortunate", a "Shopping Holiday or even a day for "football" (in the UK sense), Cricket, Hockey or Yacht racing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxing_Day -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: ProFox@leafe.com Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/4953c465.1020...@verizon.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
