Thought you all might be interested in this email that just came to
the dabo-users list. Take a look at the screenshot, too, to see how
good Dabo apps can look.
As you can imagine, I get psyched when I hear about successes like
this!

I think it would be cool to show you all what i've been up to lately,
i've seen some requests for real world dabo apps, so here is a
screenshot of the app i've been working on.

It is a datanav based app, using dabo 0.9 at the moment...
I've made some changes to datanav2 forms, as you can see in the
screenshot, however i think they need to be reworked in order to be
integrated in dabo.
It works with 30+ PostgreSQL tables, has the ability to send SMS via an
sms gateway, email, export to excell and print with dabo reports.
It also uses some wxPython controls directly without any problems.
Dabo as turned out to be the right choice for this project, it still has
some sharp edges, but it is mostly working without problems.. and very
well structured. I've looked at most of the code and get to know some
areas very well, fixing some problems here and there.
Ed, Paul, do you think some of the changes in this screenshot deserve to
be in dabo?
Maybe the bottom "statusbar" with:
- Integrated search in the grid contents
- Icon indicating if there are unsaved records
- Current / Total Records
Some feedback will be great!!!
